Saint Augustine Parish Conducts Youth Camp '08

With the theme: “One Team, One Parish, One Goal”, the Saint Augustine Parish (SAP) with the Youth Formation Team (YFT) on the lead together with the cooperation of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federated Officials joined forces and conducted the 1st SK & Parish Youth Summer Camp ’08 at Mahanub, Gigaquit, Surigao del Norte on May 30 to June 1, 2008.
More than six hundred youths from SAP joined the summer camp which was clustered into seven.Cluster 1 (Light Yellow) |

The summer camp started with a parade and opening program with the Cheerdance competition as the highlight in which Cluster 2 was declared the winner. Ball games started right after lunch break.
Acquaintance party was held on the first night of the camp. Friendly competition followed the next day and ended with the Santacruzan Coronation Night.
The seven clusters competed in the different events like Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Billiards, Chess, Marathon, & Bible Quiz.
Awarding of prizes was done on the third day of the camp right after the Eucharistic Celebration. The following are the winners:
